Empowered Movement

Empowered Movement is a workshop series designed around our creative process to provide self-care tools, support, and empower advocates through movement. Dance has power too nurture and heal, and we choose to use our skills to give back to IPV/SA survivor advocates that experience secondary trauma due to the nature of their work in these trauma informed workshops.  

Arts in Action

Community action event to be held in response to sociopolitical events in the form of arts making. The event invites dancers, writers, poets, musicians, actors, filmmakers, visual artists and more to join in an improvisational process and create together. Our arts forms are the tools we have to fight injustice. If you or your organization is interested in partnering for an arts in action even please reach out.

MNIDF 2024

eMartin Dance partnered with Dance Projects by ME for the 2024 Minnesota International Dance Festival. As a community partner we sponsored the national guest artists from the Cambodian diaspora: Wattanak Dance Troupe, Khmae Urban Ballet, and Roza Lay.

This engagement was supported by the Arts Midwest GIG Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
